A spray-on remover for the iron particles and surface rust that dull car paint, chrome and metal trim. The formula pairs inorganic acids with corrosion inhibitors and surfactants: it lifts the rust, then converts what is left into a protective film so the same spot does not flash over again.

What it handles

• Iron contamination — brake-dust and rail-dust particles that embed in paint and clearcoat and bleed out as a brown speckle.
• Surface rust — the orange bloom that gathers on stone chips, wheel arches, chrome grilles and bare steel fittings.
• Re-rusting — the corrosion inhibitor leaves a film behind, so a treated area resists oxidation instead of rusting straight back.

How to use

1. Wash the area, then let it dry — the surface needs to be dry before you spray.
2. Spray it onto the rusted or contaminated spot.
3. Work it in with a sponge.
4. Wipe clean with a clean cloth.
